Just a few things about tonight's SPN, really. Well, maybe 3.

I pretty much twittered all this already, so if you haven't seen it...don't read my twitter posts. Which I turned back on, for the time being, mostly because I'll probably twitter a lot about My Bloody Valentine 3D this weekend, so consider this your spoiler warning for that too.

-Dean just referenced JUNO. As if I couldn't love him more? Or, I guess, the writers. Although come to think of it, why the fuck would Dean have seen that movie?

-And now with more INCEST!

-Okay, enough with the pretty scenic endings with the confessional by the impala. It was okay once or twice, but really? I miss it when they used to get in the car and drive away. I miss you season 1.

-All that being said, I'm not actually surprised Dean enjoyed torturing souls. I think I hinted that in a fanfic somewhere. *cough* First step to forgetting who you are, becoming a demon...losing yourself in your pain? From a psychological standpoint, its pretty much the only direction you can go in that situation.

-Not really all that impressed with this episode. After a month and half, I was kinda hoping for another Lazarus Rising-type show. :/

I just got done watching it. I actually wasn't looking forward to this one, it ended up being way better then I thought. Still not one of there best.

And I'm so with you on the heart to heart by the car again, can we move on please!! hahaha

Cant wait for next weeks. Thats the eppy there were filming when I was up in vancouver, we saw acouple of the filming sites for that one.

seriously. "Cut, Print, check at the gate!" lol. the impala is big and strong and protective for when the boys are angsty, we know. don't hit us over the head.

it looks to be kinda filler, too, so I'm not terribly excited, other than yay Barry Botswick! But I bet it'll be really cool for you to watch, seeing stuff all finalized and stuff.

I kinda assumed that, so did the ppl i was watching it with. The whole ep was so dark it was impossible to see what was going on half the time.

Aw, yay! I have to wait till Saturday. And then drive 50 miles to the nearest IMAX, lol.

Also, your icon is really neat. It looks like the scene from right before dean sticks the spoon in sam's mouth, but the angle makes it look..sweet, not goofy. is that what its from, doyaknw?

yeah, the good ole' into the sunset type moments that like the first 8 episodes or so of s1 ended with would've been nice. The whole ep had a bit of a s1 overtone to it, minus angsty dean, so i was kinda hopin' for it...but no luck.

They canceled my showing :( They didn't sell enough tickets to show it. I didn't ask how many they sold but I was sad.

At least I got 2 free passes out of it. WOO.

I wanted to go tonight because I am not sure when I will have the chance as I have stuff going on all weekend.

And yeah, THANK GOD, I'm not the only one who thinks that the pretty scenic endings need to go. I mean, it's starting to become expected and a little dull.

I said in my post how I'm kind of surprised that people are so RAWR angry over what Dean said. I thought it made perfect sense, if devastating. I wouldn't have expected anything less really, I mean, it's hell. People seem to be forgetting that hell is a horrible, horrible place with horrible, horrible consequences.

JUNO REFERENCE! I forgot about that. Best part ever.

Don't get me wrong, I love the beautiful scenery and the fact that Dean is opening up to Sam. Makes for beautiful desktop wallpapers and stuff, haha. But it's very convenient, especially two episodes in a row.

It is very graphic friendly. :P No denial there. Though my favorite scenic shots were from 4.1, with Dean walking along the road in his sexy t-shirt. Very beautiful.

That's my point. He wasn't Dean Winchester. He was a man who'd been trapped and tortured for years and years and was finally given an out. I'd lash out too, anyone would.
