No seriously though. CASTIEL IS FUCKING INTERESTING TO ME AGAIN. Holy shit.

So I'm flailing and saying, "with great power comes great responsibility - the type of thing that will drive you, will drive you maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad (ROXAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE)" and my mom's all "HOLY SHIT HE'S GOING OLD TESTAMENT ON THEIR ASSES" and my dad is just like "how do I put up with you two?"

The snapping and exploding of Raphael was cool though. I really loved that last scene, how Crowley was so quick to notice that the jig was up and how...pleased with himself Castiel was. THAT WAS SOME AWESOME ACTING.

Speaking of acting, duuuuuuuuuuuude, THREE SAMS FUCK YEAH. At least I think there was just three. My cable cut out in the middle and I was all :|||||||| THREESOME IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER. (Seriously reminded me of an episode of Angel in season four, Orpheus Descending, where Faith goes into Angelus' head to convince Angel to come back out but in the process has to deal with Angelus and all the things he's done. It's my favorite episode of that season.)

Speaking of Angel season four, getting Castiel to erase you from the memory of Lisa and Ben, Dean? LAME BUT ACCEPTABLE ENDING TO A STORYLINE. Though I'm not convinced that'd keep demons from going after them, as they. still. matter. to you, Dean. Much like Angel had Connor's memories erased, the past has a way of catching up to you. But man oh man, Jensen your face during that final scene with them and then the angerrrr you have at yourself, directed at Sam? Powerful stuff. It'd be interesting to see them brought up again sometime, but I'm sure they won't be because this show is not a Whedon production, sadly.

Also THERE WAS TORTURER!DEAN FLAILY FLAIL FLAIL FLAIL ALL OVER THE PLACE. I did like that Sam seemed at least mildly disturbed by how Dean was going at it. OH THERE'S A FIC IDEA. So many new ideas, so little time. Or well, so little ability to make a simple idea turn into a decent fic. Sigh.


In conclusion: I liked it. I'm not disappointed much at all. This is good. http://isitseptember.com

IT REMINDS YOU OF ORPHEUS? HOLY SHIT, I AM WATCHING THIS TONIGHT. That was, like, one of my fave Anegl eps EVER (and definitely one of the only redeeming qualities of that season, IMHO.)

You know, I think the only finale I've been OHMYGOD about was the Castle one, everything else has been kind of "meh." Like, even this one, it was GOOD but I'm not like...terribly desperate for it to be September yet, just...passing interest, you know.

YES YES YES YES YES. At least Sam's bit does, but the whole episode of course has other stuff going on. But yeah, Orpheus Descending is totally one of the only episode of season four worth watching.

MY BAD! It's only a brief moment, but Sam gets to seee! And Dean's all EMOTIONALLLL!!! I need to write this but I don't know how. Boo.
