My goal this weekend is to not update livejournal until Monday. Not including a post I MAY make tomorrow about Battlestar Galactica. lol.

Supernatural was...Supernatural-y. HA, take that spoilers. "can you vague that up for me?" you ask?

-Sam and Dean beating the shit out of each other? HOT AS FUCK.

-~~Jensen~~DEAN looks hot with that axe. Hmm...haven't I seen him with an axe in some other movie recently or something?

-Wincest is officially canon. Yes, it is. Also, I think we can safely say Dean's just a little bit gay, too, lol. Give him a man who appreciates a car and knows his music and Dean's set for life.

-The rumors about the third Winchester brother can go the fuck away now, kthnxbye.

-I'd really like to know more about Sam and Ruby and their secret!phone conversations.

-Sam's really catching up with Xander on the "attracted to supernatural beings" list.

-Greek Mythology. /clap! Dean knowing Greek Mythology /doubleclap!

-Gosh, Sam, falling kind of hard kind of fast, huh? Give a boy some booze...sigh. Dean's right, you have changed. Love 'em and leave 'em? Anyone else noticed that Sam's got laid more than Dean this season? I mean, all we've seen Dean get is Jaime from MM. And...The Chief. lol.

Jensen has pretty hair on Dawson's Creek, but it needs styled better. And NO, it was NOT my idea to watch it. It was already playing when I entered the room. And I do love me some Busy Phillips. And Pacey totally has a porn 'stache in this season.

I understand. I mean, they're brothers, nobody wants 'em fighting. But I think it's been coming since Metamorphosis when Dean punched Sam twice. I didn't think he'd got his anger out then, and it's certainly not out now. There was a second even when I thought one of them (Sam, probly) was faking being under the Siren's spell, until the things they said kept getting too cruel to be just them.

All I could think of was Xander. I mean, Anya...Ruby...they're not THAT different. LOL.

I don't mind it. One of the girls I was watching it with was having such a hard time seeing Jensen with anything other than Dean hair. It was funny, since he pretty much had long-ish hair always before Dean.

Why did you have to compare Sam to Xander? LOL I already moved on from the Buffy/Dean pairing idea because they're practically twins in appearance, events and life missions. (If Buffy had continued on her path of "want, take, have" that Faith was encouraging, she'd be even more like Dean.) Buffy/Xander is my current favorite BtVS pairing, and now I'm going to be even more fascinated by Wincest fics because of you.

lol. I'm totally not apologizing. I mean, sure, Ruby and Anya aren't really ALIKE that much, but there's that whole demon thing, lol. And in the right world, I could totally see Xander becoming something like Sam, not nearly as badass, but with that same sense of righteousness and vengeance and loyalty to his family/friends.

I can't believe how much thought I'm putting into what was just a passing thought. o.O

Well, Katie!Ruby was more like Buffy than Anya in a lot of ways, but Genevieve!Ruby does seem to be more like Anya, considering the lengths she was willing to go just to get Sam to have sex with her.

Sadly? If Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was real, I'd get all of my Buffy memories erased, because they are firmly lodged in my brain. Everything gets compared to that show.

I'm now going to start calling Sam "Sam(der).'

Gosh, I REALLY need to see that movie from start to finish. I've seen it from about the middle to end, and the first few minutes, but never all the way through.

Everything comes back to Buffy. Really. I was reading bits of

smidgy06's journal, and she has all these comparisons between the two shows, and there's A LOT of like...scene shots and situations that are very similar. I mean, I notice some stuff like that, but there's more than we think, methinks. ;)

I still kind of laugh at how Jared insisted so much during the first two seasons, "Our show isn't Buffy." and sure, he's got a point. It's not. It just has Amber Benson, Chad Lindberg, Amy Acker, Mercedes McNab, a guy who hates vampires because of what they did to his sister, some evil witches, a character named Giles (pronounced Guy-ulls on Supernatural, but really, where have we heard that before? :) ), rapist boyfriends, people climbing out of their coffins, an older sibling keeping the younger one safe at any cost, absentee fathers...

Also, Kripke himself stated (after Jared's constant denial) that he wanted the Buffy fans to like his show, which just sounded to me like, "Sorry, Jared. You're Dawn, only with a penis." LOL

Wincest canon? Maybe. This episode definitely provided fuel for wincest-fans out there. Heck, some parts of it were like pouring gasoline on bone-dry birch wood and lighting a match. I however remain aloof to wincest. *shrugs*

I'm just now getting into Battlestar Galactica. I'm [LEGALLY ACQUIRING] the first season right now. Here's hoping it's as good as they say.

I love it. I think it might be a little overrated, but it certainly tells a good story with pertinent moral overtones in today's world...among other things. :)
