Why?
I kind of liked Joyce. Well, at least after the first two seasons. I thought it was hilarious in the third season when she kept trying to "understand" Buffy and showed up when Buffy was out patrolling. Haha. ;)

I think that's why I didn't like her. She was too "Mom"-y. Especially in season two, with the whole "well, stop it-you can't be a slayer anymore" speech. She was okay in season 5, though. I was very saddened when she died, but I credit that more to the acting and stuff in The Body than her actual death.
