My heart will go on and on.

I can't deal with real life at the moment and today was my day off and tomorrow I work my first full shift at the hotel, so here, have a whole post of fandom stuffs.

[livejournal.com profile] ontd_lost has ruined Lost for me. I can't watch an episode without wondering who's gonna end up jearing by the end of it.

Turns out, it was pretty much...everyone, including me.

Sun and Jin and their whole Jack and Rose thing, omg. I was all...this episode is pretty lame, I don't really care about Jack or why Kate can't seem to die, and then they had to go KILL PEOPLE. I mean, I've pretty much not liked Sayid all this season but he was one of my fav. characters when the show started. And then FRANK! I refuse to believe he's dead until there is a body as proof.

Also, I realized, Sun has Charlie's Drive Shaft ring. DD: Which means Claire will never get it, at least not in this reality.

I've decided my favorite characters on V are Lisa and Joshua. Hrm. I also enjoy Hobbes, but not really the character so much as the actor's charming accent and attractive looks, omg. He's the reason I loved Crossing Jordan way back when it was on, before Tim Kring had to go and create the insanity that is (was?) Heroes.

Glee only interests me in phases. The last few episodes I've been pretty much half bored and then laughing my ass off at random intervals accompanied by awesome one-liners. This episode, omg the music, WHYYY. SO AWKWARD. And Olivia Newton-John WHAT EVERRRRR. ALTHOUGH I WAS HOPING TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART WAS IN THERE SOMEWHERE, HELL TO THE YES.

"No one is accusing anyone of anything...Puck seriously, did you do it?"

Emma's whole standing up for herself thing is so adorable, but I really do feel sorry for Will. I mean, give the guy a break, he married that annoying wife of his right outta high school, now's his first chance to ~fool around~. At least he's not actively DATING you and cheating on you...

In conclusion, I really just love Jonathan Groff and Lea Michelle together. *puts on Spring Awakening soundtrack*

MISTAHHHHHHHH CROWLEY.

Will never not go there. That's all I got for that episode. No but really, Mark Sheppard makes everything better.

I think the episode pretty much...sucked, well no, not the episode, but the WRITING of the episode (and the season) and Jared's hair and forehead did all of his acting. Really I'm just miffed as to why ~Brady~ had to be invented at all. They've written so many corners into Sam's whole ~destiny~ story that it really doesn't even make sense anymore, don't get me started. The fact that Brady and not Azazel himself was the one who killed Jess...really...really...bugs me. (Although I didn't mind the implication that there could've been a little h/c Sam/Brady time in college.)

But I really loved Crowley. I have no qualms with him dying by season's end, he is a demon after all, but I hope his death is creative in a way that is beneficial to the Winchesters (unlike Gabriel's whose death was merely a getaway distraction. Useful, I suppose, but rather bland.)

I did like how Dean said he trusted Sam, but I didn't like how it just came out as a casual statement and didn't cause Sam to do a double take considering how most of the last two seasons Dean's been all I DON'T TRUST YOU ANY FURTHER THAN I COULD THROW YOU.

In conclusion, I HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS EPISODE. Crowley was not one of them.

Um. Yeah. I don't know, I think I'm just ready for tv season to be over on all counts.

Crowley was kicking ass all over the place, I'll agree with you there. <3 I'm sorry RL is rough right now, but Mark Sheppard DOES make everything better! The episode felt really rushed and I feel like without Crowley's badassery it would have come off very poorly. I didn't mind Jared's acting as much this time around, but yeah, the concept of Brady killing Jess does irk me. I like the idea of YED doing it MUCH better. That being said, Brady himself seemed like kind of a cool character to me, and the scene where Sam finally killed him was awesome.

IA completely about Sam accepting the "I trust you" way too casually, though. Show, why do you always have such a hard time with these things? That was an important moment! ):

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2010-05-10 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
Obviously the writers are confused about what important moments are. Considering the number of small yet important things that have been gleaned over. (Castiel letting Sam out of the panic room, anyone?)

I just wish we'd been introduced to Brady prior to OMG HE KNEW SAM IN COLLEGE? OMG HES A DEMON? OMG HE KILLED JESS? Like...name drop, something. Would've been really cool if he'd been that other friend from the pilot, the one dressed as like a zombie at the halloween party.

[identity profile] laru-tan-repus.livejournal.com 2010-05-11 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but I think that actor was busy? IDK, that's what I read in some comment somewhere. Plus they've had a lot of black dudes die on the show, usually as bad guys. They're going to start race!failing pretty hard if they're not careful.

[identity profile] queen125.livejournal.com 2010-05-05 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Will's been a slut.

And yeah, he deserved to get called out on it, but not in front of all your colleagues. D:

I did not like that part.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2010-05-10 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
I thought it was cute how Emma finally found her voice to confront him about it, but yeah, did not need to be in the teacher's lounge.

(Although I didn't mind the implication that there could've been a little h/c Sam/Brady time in college.)

THAT IS WHY I APPROVE OF BRADY. HOTTTTT.

PS. Jared's hair/forehead/nostrils always do all his acting! It's his ~thing. I kind of find it adorable.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2010-05-10 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
lol but Jared used to actually ACT a wee bit too. At least enough to distract me from his face. But now...IDK, I can't take him seriously like AT ALL.

WHERE IS THE FIC? Have I missed it all?

[identity profile] xxtornxxapartxx.livejournal.com 2010-05-05 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Crowley is fun! :D

The fact that Brady and not Azazel himself was the one who killed Jess...really...really...bugs me.

YES. YES YES MOTHEREFFING YES.

So many twists have been thrown into Sam's story, this season especially, and while it was kind of cool in the beginning, now I'm kind of like "Okay, enough with the retcons already." You already read my rant about this, and while there were (eheh) ulterior motives behind them, as much as I liked Brady, I did not like his purpose for being there.

Crowley was awesome and needs to not die because he needs to stick around forever.

This storyline was just drawn out too long is the issue. If it had just been one season instead of two, I think it would have been a lot more concise, had a lot less of these unnecessary turns, and just felt a lot more cohesive as a whole. I loved this season when it started, but now, I'm kind of ready for them to send the devil back to hell.

Brady = what's the point?!

Thank you! That's really been bugging me too! On the one hand I'm like "Thank you for killing him off in one episode." and on the other I'm like "Well, in that case, why was he there at all?!" I have so many issues with him, including the ones you brought up, but to add:
a) least scary demon ever, I think. He came across like a spoiled yuppie with special powers.
b) since when do the Four Horsemen need a personal assistant? Lame.
c) ok, so this was a plot device to get us Pestilence's location. big whoop. I'm sure there could've been a better way to get the boys to that horseman.

Setting aside Brady, I have started to be ok with this episode. I've settled for it being a complete opposite of a stand-alone eppy, and a big teaser to the two final episodes. Plus yeah, Crowley carried this episode by a lot.

I work the front desk at a hotel on the night shift.
For the most part, it's pretty nice.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2010-05-10 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
it was what i was originally looking for when i first started job hunting. i really got this on a whim, went in on my lunch break from rural king and got hired right then and there.

[identity profile] sparksflyout.livejournal.com 2010-05-08 01:17 pm (UTC)(link)
lol. Crowley is awesome.

The Lost stuff, meh. Is it over yet? I might rent it from the start and see what happens..or, i'll just get someone who watches to tell me what the deal was. I'm undecided at this point.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2010-05-10 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
It ends in just a few episodes. Probably a good plan to wait till its over to watch it. I, like I'm sure thousands of Lost fans, are probalby going to be disappointed in the finale and stop recommending the show to people, but we shall see. Mostly I watch out of obligation since i've watched from the start.
