I figured 60/40.
I have all but one achievement in Plants vs. Zombies, be jealoussssss. Of course the one left is to survive 40 rounds of zombies on endless, so that'll take some time.
Brett and I watched Public Enemies after Supernatural last night. That movie...I'm angry at it. Dillinger is such a cool character to tell a story about, and they just...failed at it. I mean, it was pretty and it was filmed well, but the script SUCKED. I didn't care about any of the characters, wasn't even really introduced to most of them, had no emotional connection with anyone other than Billie and Johnny and even then not so much. Not to mention just the coherency of the story was incredibly jumbled. Had I not already known the story I would've been quite lost, much like Brett was. So yeah, cool idea, bad execution. I did enjoy going HEY THAT'S CROWN POINT. HEY THAT'S MOORESVILLE when I recognized things, though.
I debated whether to even mention Supernatural, but I have to.

I loved this. Dean IS Sam's soul, Sam's moral compass.
The whole Purgatory thing had me going O RLY? But I was all DANTE THEY MENTIONED DANTE!!!! lol. Is Mary in Purgatory? What else is there that Sampa could want? And how does Crowley have the power to pull people down from heaven? That is, if we still believe Grampa Skinner was in heaven.
CROWLEY. Mark Sheppard you sneaky sneaky. His name wasn't in the opening guest star credits. *applauds show* That said...not shocked, by any means. Almost wish they would've saved that reveal for a bit.
Loved the Alpha vamp, (love that actor) loved his speech and how easily he told Sam and Dean what Samuel wanted. I love it when the monsters help them, how it twists that line of good/bad again.
I wonder if that's the last we see of Christian. Good to know his dickishness was at least partially demon-inspired. Though man, if a demon can infiltrate a compound like they seemed to have set-up, I think they gots some security issues, lol. I was also surprised that Gwen was just...Gwen. Why not possess her? And what does that say about her, if everyone else was a demon and that's why they followed Sampa's weird 'save the vampire save the world' creepy van-throwing, why did she do it? (See questions I have that I don't really need an answer for and know I will never get)
Oh! Castiel was funny. I was hoping he and Samuel would meet finally. And he's the size of a Chrysler building! And OF COURSE their problems come first.
I hope Sam gets his soul back soonish, like halfway through the season maybe? I like that they're working together again, but I miss his morality. :/ I don't know about this show anymore, lol. I watch for the characters, definitely not for the plot.

I liked the Dante reference. And the alpha-vamp. And I really liked that Gwen was just herself. I think she's been following Samuel & the others (a) because she was raised in that lifestyle [presumably] and (b) I think maybe she's been thinking something's up with how thing's have been going down. I really hope she's just human and doesn't end up being an angel or some shit.
Also, I think she's pretty :)
I'm excited about sniper!Dean and how things are going to play out this season. I refuse to be anything less than excited about this show. MY SQUEE KNOWS NO BOUNDS \:D/

They revealed a whole lot. I'm going to rewatch this epi this week, b/c I feel like I need it in order to process.

I liked how she and Dean were kinda bonding in an awkward way there, even if she did call him a reject, she saved his ass, too.
OH GOD SNIPER!DEAN IS SOOOO RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS. Oh you. <3

I loved the vampire Alpha also.
I love Cas, and I'm glad he snapped at Dean about that. Dean doesn't get it that Cas is at war in heaven and has Raphael on his ass. What part of that does Dean not understand?
My fangirly heart will just say that Dean is really worried about Cas and misses him alot.
I think Sam finding his soul could be stretched the whole season.

That is all.

Dean is SO demanding of Castiel, it is quite rooood. I don't quite think Cas understands the whole 'submissive' part of their relationship. :P (lol what am I SAYINGGGG)
I hope not. I like them exploring Robo!Sam but I want SAMMY back. T____T

I love what you said about Dean being Sam's soul! *swoons*

<33 And then someone upthread said it even prettier than I - "What do you do when your soulmate's soul is missing? You be his soul for a little while. That's what you do."

I feel bad when I continually compare this show to BtVS. It's in season six, it deserves to stand on its own merit for that. But when there's a conversation where the guys keep repeating, "the first" over and over, I can't help it.
I was thinking of the Alpha as being like Adam (BtVS Adam, not the Adam they introduced and then ignored like a redheaded stepchild), but now I think he's more like Glory.
I can't escape the need to compare the shows. This one really needs more Buffy.
What?

Haha, well to be fair, it's always been comparative to Buffy. And I think even moreso now that ~Sam came back wrong~ you know? It's even comparitive to season six of Buffy. Ngl, I was hoping the Alpha vamp would be a little more Master-esque. Though his speech reminded me a lot of The First "When you were huddled around the fire, I was the thing in the dark."
I want to know who the Alphas' mother is/are. Because THAT is the first. And I wonder if they're even going to address the plotline they set up there.

Not thinking too hard, not thinking too hard, not thinking too hard. *rocks*
