+ i hope everyone has a fantastic valentine's day, whether it's with some actual person you love or a marathon of that fictional tv character you can't live without. brett has the flu + he's getting the stitches in his chest out on that day, so i will probably be doing the latter. (actually i really hate valentine's day. it's a dumb holiday, if you love someone you don't need a special day to show it and if you don't have anyone it just makes you feel shitty.) just...have a good monday, february 14th.

I re-watched the season 1 finale of QaF today, I still bawl like a baby every single time, the end just breaks me. Briaaaaaannnnnnn, his faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace.

I get so frustrated with tumblr sometimes but I JUST CAN'T STOP.

I KNOWWWWWWWWW POOR BB. The tears streaking down his face and how he's just sitting there in shock and how we never really see him cry quite so openly ever again, like something broke in that moment. SO PRETTY AND SO HEARTBREAKING.

I like Valentine's Day. Although I do agree with your assessment at the same time. Yet, seeing as I've never had a reason to expect a stereotypical V-day, I've never felt shitty. I just dress in red, decorate with hearts, eat lots of chocolate, and watch something related (SPN's V-day episode will be on the agenda this time, for example).

I'm off to a Single's Night party that my grad school is hosting. Totally out of character for me, which is probably why I'm still single. *haha* Fingers crossed that I'll enjoy myself. And if I don't, hey - I still got a new SPN episode to look forward to! : )

Yulp! Ahahaha, My Bloody Valentine. That episode had it's amusing moments.

That sounds both scary and potentially really really fun. Episode was good but kinda depressing, as par for the course.

It was a little awkward at first, as this guy hit on me really hard and I wasn't at all interested. But after I escaped him, it was really fun actually! Didn't meet any potential dates though.

I watched the episode this morning. When I got home from the party last night (technically last-last night as it's past midnight now here), I wanted to watch it. But my internet was being too slow, so I went to bed instead. I mostly liked it. Some good brother moments, Dad references, and the cliffhanger'y ending was exciting of course. Otherwise however, it felt like a middle-chapter in a book.

I love it, though it's a little dark to read sometimes. And but of course my layout has to reflect my new obsession! Haha actually I made the banner for tumblr originally and then was like...YOU KNOW, THAT AIN'T HALF BAD and slapped the text on it. I love that scene so fucking much.
