That was pretty good.

I absolutely LOVE the season one feel that's going on lately. I hope they keep it up!

Plus mentions of Ellen! And Missouri!!! And that pretty girl was practically Dean's version of Sarah from Provenance. HEARTS FOR EYES. People need to write me het fic now.

Plus what a fucking creepy ghosts. GHOSTS ARE SCARY, and also probably the most common of all the things they deal with. You'd think they'd hunt MORE ghosts than they do, you know? So it's cool to just...back to basics it! Again!

They even did their own research!!! NO CALLS TO BOBBY!

Only thing that bugs me is I'm not actually fond of Sam ~forgiving and understanding~ Dean for killing Amy, really, idk. Punch the fucker, Sam, he deserves it. And maybe it'll help out Dean, you never know. Y'all need to spar or something anyway, so much tension up in here. Only THEN should you forgive him. But I suppose talking about your feelings to each other is a start.

Sometimes I do wonder why I still watch this show, because season eight is rather tired and boring so far. But then it reminds me, by bringing up George O'Malley and pretty much being a commentary on itself. Things change. People are different. But the heart of the show is the same. And I still cry practically every episode. But GEORGE, they mentioned GEORGE, and Izzie, and how things used to be. Sigh.

And now I must be off to get paid to be annoyed by college students all night and huddle under a blanket because god forbid the building have a proper heating system to keep the lobby warm. :( I'll probably watch more Life After People tonight, it's quite fascinating.

I'm fine with Sam being okay with Amy being dead. What I'm not fine with is the fact that they are pretty much ignoring that Dean still doesn't trust Sam. After all Sam has been through and done for him. THAT'S NOT OKAY.

Yeah, I think that's pretty much the problem I have, too. At least with the fact that SAM hasn't even acknowledged that the real problem wasn't so much that Dean killed Amy so much as Dean LIED about trusting him. It's like they're just smoothing over that fact for the Amy/'monsters are bad and need to die' realization again.

I am just starting s7 of my giant Grey's rewatch. GEORGE. I had forgotten how much I loved him. I'm sad all over again.

It was like BAM out of nowhere, I hadn't thought about George in awhile (except for how the actor was a rapist on L&O earlier this week, such weird timing) and it made me really sad, because it was obvious the characters hadn't thought about him in awhiile, and then they lamented over how everythign had changed and why they hadn't thought of him in awhile and pretty much once again Grey's is a commentary on life in general for me.

I need to catch up with SPN liek whoa. At this point, I'm just waiting until hiatus. But yay for boys talking! (THERE'S A CONCEPT.)

I stopped watching Grey's when Izzie was having sex with Denny's "ghost." I was like "Okay aaaaand done." Even finding out that it was all in her head, I felt like they gave Denny the PERFECT exit (seriously, one of my favorite scenes in the history of television ever) and then... that. Sigh.

Pfffffffft CATCH UP NOW. HOW CAN YOU BE BEHIND?!

Haha shamefully enough, that's when I picked it back up again. I stopped watching maybe half a season before that, right when Izzie became a giant bitch because the actress wanted out, so then they started that storyline for her and JDM just reeled me in with wtf-ery, and it was definitely awkward but IDK, it worked for me, as well. I was just happy to see Denny again because I did NOT like the way Denny died. Which isn't to say it wasn't an amazing exit, it just...no.

BECAUSE I'M ALMOST NEVER HOME WHEN IT'S ON AND THEN I DON'T WATCH IT ALL WEEK. The same reason I'm behind in just about every other show I watch, lol. HIATUS CATCH UP TIME, WHEEE!

I was shocked with the way he died, true, but I was okay with it. Though it did make things interesting when I finally started watching SPN because I couldn't unsee Denny for a while LOL

Ahhhhhahaha, well you should watch it sometimes in the middle of the week, duhhhhh. It's not like you have more time during hiatus to catch up if you don't have time normally! I don't understand that logic. :P

Tru dat. I was fond of John Winchester only because he had Denny's face. Now with time passed and Denny's face not on my screen all the time, my hatred of John has grown pretty strong, haha.

I thought they did make a call to Bobby. I know that they mentioned that they were going to call him and then I thought they did that off screen or something. No?

When he mentioned the Campbell brothers and their alternative lifestyle I thought, 'They should have called this one Slash Fiction' because I'm lame like that.

Ahhh I liked the play on the title for last week, the combined Pulp Fiction reference mixed with the fact that there were two sets of Winchesters. "The Mentalists" was a totally lame title for this episode though.

I think this didn't bother me too much because Sam had a week and a half of being pissed off to get his anger out, and he still ended up calling Dean out on the way he was acting, not just saying "You were right, everything back to normal." I liked it. Also feeeeeeeelings.

But Dean still doesn't TRUST Sam, and doesn't apologize for lying about THAT. I think that's what bugs me the most, not that Sam's forgiving, because of course he'll forgive Dean forever and ever. But it seems Dean still doesn't trust him and I don't like that because honestly, isn't it about time?

Carleeeen I started rewatching Shameless and help. h e l p. I kinda want to request it for Yuletide but I feel like other fandom people aren't as incest-friendly (LOL) as SPN fandom people and they won't want to write Ian/Lip hahahahahahahaha.

Agree with everything you said about Supernatural. But I'm actually still in utter love with Grey's. They're my two favorites, and last night I got home, and had new episodes of BOTH on the DVR. Couldn't decide which to watch first. So I fell asleep. : ) I'm gonna have a good day today!

I still absolutely love Grey's. I lost interest a bit in the middle, with Izzie dying and George dying and such, but I still love the heart of the show, Christina and Bailey and even Mer and Der. This season just hasn't been as emotionally impactful to me as it used to be (on a consistent basis, at least), and I think it's really because the show has been on SO LONG that it's hard to forget how much it's evolved.

Sometimes SPN makes me cry, only this time it made me want to cry in frustration. Sam didn't have to forgive Dean, he shouldn't have had to. It's not the fact the Dean killed Amy that was wrong, that was ok because he had to, but it's not ok Dean lied to Sam and urghhhhhhh I could go on about this for ages

Yeah, Sam's always the one forgiving, never really Dean. Or when Dean does, it's just glossed over (like forgiving him for all of season 4. Where was the big discussion about that?) SIGHHHHHHHHHHH ughhh I love Dean but sometimes, he deserves punched.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. I enjoyed the rest of the episode, but that part annoyed me.

The ghost was super creepy. D: Especially when she was smiling at Dean and the girl through the window? Aaaugh. *shudders*

CONTINUITY \o/ It's like...this whole season has been a plethora of it and IT MAKES ME HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
