Tell me about a story I haven't written and I'll give you 1-3 sentences(approximately) of or about it.

First TV show I had self-insertion fantasies about:
I would imagine Star Trek or The X Files, or actually probably Xena, now that I think about it. But the first one I remember is The Pretender. Jarod was exciting, okay?

First fandom in which I interacted (online and in person) with other fans:
Online, Heroes. I knew Buffy fandom existed but I didn't really do anything in it other than print out a few fics. In person, Star Trek, definitely. I went to my first convention when I was FOUR, man.

Pairing in the first slash fanfiction I read:
Buffy/Faith, ngl. And then Peter/Nathan

First RPS/RPF I read:
Milo V./Hayden P.

First fanfiction I read that made me think, 'YES, this is exactly the kind of fanfiction I'd like to write...':
Uhhhhh probably [livejournal.com profile] mystery_sock's Ritual verse about Peter/Nathan.

Pairing in the first fanfiction I wrote:
Buffy/Angel Mary Sue/Riley. I have 250 notebook pages of this story about this vampire/slayer hybrid that saves the day etc etc. A whole verse, man.

First OTP:
Lancelot/Guinevere forever and ever, man.

First RPS/F OTP:
Milo V/Adrian Pasdar <.<

First fannish friend I met in person:
That I still talk to? I think [livejournal.com profile] dawnintheforest. The year before I met her I met up with someone and rode to ChiCon '08 with her but we haven't spoken since I left her house Monday morning, though I think we're still FB friends.

First character I formally roleplayed:
Uhhhh. Faith, I think. Or maybe Arcee from Transformers. I could never get into roleplaying online. And um. As a child I'd dress up as the Pink Ranger with some other friends as Power Rangers, idk if that counts. Oh and I was Kira Nerys at one Star Trek convention.

Yeah.

It's a lovely day outside. I'd like to take my laptop out and actually try to write something, but I'm terrified that moving it would be the final straw in its old age and I love it too dearly to try, I think.

I feel like you've either prompted this before or someone else has because I know I've thought about it before.

It takes you sixty-three years and five deaths, but you finally manage to get your brother to the Grand Canyon. You expect him to laugh, or whistle in appreciation, or sarcastically comment about how 'it's really not that big,' and 'that's what she said' and a million other comments, his mouth running a mile a minute like it always does when he's excited.

"It's beautiful, Sam," he says, but his voice is flat and his back is stiff.

He stands and stares at it for awhile, hands in his pockets and face blank, and you don't quite know what to say to this reaction, so you stand quietly with him and watch the sun slip further down the horizon.

"Seems pretty insignificant compared to all the shit we've seen, doesn't it?" he says after awhile, and you look at him, the fading sunlight reflecting off his five o'clock shadow, accenuating the wrinkles around his mouth and highlighting the faded scar from a Leviathan nearly thirty years ago. You suppose he has point.

"Prettier than any of the shit we've ever seen, though, right?"

He laughs, his whole body loosening up as much as it can these days. "Good point. Thank you, Sammy."

Omg <3 BOYS. You have killed me dead in just a few paragraphs. I just want to hug them.
