spn, i am disappoint.

So I liked this week's episode of Grimm better than that episode of Supernatural. And that's saying something, since it was basically "Bugs" with better special effects and less gay references.

.

But really Supernatural, what the fuck is it with you and rape jokes/implications and black people whose deaths are a given? Let's look past the fact that you KNEW the implication of Becky 'roofie'ing Sam was there but made this episode anyway and focus on the fact that Becky is supposed to be this representation of fandom, as you've made her. If that's truly how everyone involved in the show sees us, I'm pretty offended. And I'm usually pretty easy-going about that sort of thing.

Only reedeming points are Dean's sweater vest (professor!dean!!!!!) "Shouldn't you ask for my permission or something?" and...well...DJ Qualls was cute I guess. Okay ALL THE SCENES WITH DEAN WERE OKAY. And bearded!Crowley.

But like...Sam oh honey. Your face is precious and your sideburns are whack, but I can't believe anyone thought this plot was a good idea for you. Not to mention you're legally dead so the marriage wouldn't have been legal anyway.

Like, I hated Becky already. But I was willing to look past that for the episode. But the writing...I hated it more. Fucking Dabb & Loflin, in your fandom ruining your shows. The more I think about this episode the more angry I get.

In equally as frustrating news as that episode, Nashcon was moved up to February and while, I suppose I could ask off and cough up the money, I don't plan to, because that's only four months away and my bank account won't have recovered from Chicon by that point yet. Really pissed about this, but understanding, I guess. The real question will be if it stays in February. February is just not a good month for me.
