Does this look like swimming pool weather to you dean?...

"It's practically Canadian!" Or...proof that its too fucking cold outside.

Ask me about my evening. No,really. I'll be happy to tell you how the fire alarm went off, something not terribly uncommon in this dorm, but that we were shuffled to the multipurpose room of the next nearest dorm, something that's NEVER happened in the almost 3 years I've lived here. There, we waited, for almost an hour, while RA's tried to sort out the people who were missing from their attendance calls. NEVER were we told what had happened, what was going on, or when or even if we'd be allowed back in our rooms. When I asked the RA I had last year what was going on, she ignored me. FINALLY Nicole cornered the dorm director who told us that a water main had burst in the building setting off the fire alarm (yeah, I don't get that either) and that we'd be allowed back in soon, but that the 1st floor was pretty damp and that the sidewalk was all frozen. So, I'm home sweet dorm now. But NEVER ONCE was an announcement made to the 400+ people left homeless for the better part of 2 hours. UGH. I hate this university.

Not to mention I was on my way to bed, considering that we're leaving at 930 tomorrow morning to go see My Bloody Valentine 3D in Fort Wayne. I'm pretty wide awake now. UGH.

I discovered [livejournal.com profile] blindfold_spn today, and I'm like systematically reading what interests me now. LOL. Of course, the prompting ended like...yesterday or something. Too little too late. haha. But dude. People are kinky. And it's awesome. *shifty eyes*

Battlestar Galactica is BACK! I debated on whether or not to post anything about it.

DEE!!! She was like my...3rd favorite character. For a second I thought she was going to be number 5, but then BOOM goes the dynamite. /sob

I didn't cry until Lee wiped that "1" from the people!count board, then I was like..."NO, THE FLEETS DOWN TO AN EVEN NUMBER!" And in comes Kara, always looking to her Lee for help, even when he has none because the only help he had just shot herself in the head. /wibble

That episode was REALLY LONG. Like, not only did it run over 3.5 minutes, they didn't even have the usual intro credits, just the scroll of their names. And not running Ellen's name till the end, tricky bastards...

Not that I EVER cared about Ellen. UGH. I'm not saying it point blank, just...REALLY?

Hmm. What else? So, who the fuck is Starbuck then? Are we gonna get that explained? If they're leaving Earth, how are Tyrol and Sam and...whatever Roslin's bitchcylonaide's name is, going to remember their lives there. I thought it was kinda cool how the song they'd all been hearing was something Sam had written for a girl. (So Sam's Jimi Hendrix somehow? lol)

THE. Fucking. END. I'm going to attempt sleep now.

ETA: And as I just caught on the end of whatever news show Kendra's watching, this video's kinda cool. I found it really cool cuz I loved the West Wing, but it's still kinda neat. It's the show's introduction music, but with real people in Obama's administration and stuff. *shrugs* I thought it was neat, okay?
