there must be some kind of way out of here, said the joker to the thief.

Battlestar Galactica. I love you. I'll miss you.

I can't...words...I have no real thoughts. I only have the commentary I typed as I watched the episode. Which is what I leave here.

Doc Cottle getting emotional!

"could still send em all out the airlock." "take too much time" LMAO. The banter between Bill and Saul, the friends that always are and always were, despite it all.

Romo is the best candidate for president? Uhm...I suppose I agree. And Hoshi, damnit I wish I could remember where you came from. You just appeared one day.

God, that scene of the six walking the centurions onto the Galactica. Still creepy even after this all, still creepy even though they're on the human side.

Sam, Sam so pivotal to it all, when he was just supposed to be a throw-away guest star.

Cylons firing on Galactica, knowing that she can't take the damage, oh, heartbreaking. I have tears. First time.

centurions leading apollo are the disturbing. As well as them listening to him.

Aw, man. "I don't want to go out with cold weapons" well, you didn't. :/

Go, BOOMER. I knew there was hope for you yet. Sharons are weak with emotion that way.

Cavil reminds me of the YED in Supernatural, his witty rejoinders full of sarcasm.

Caprica/Baltar. Hmm. I'm glad they finally got together.

Goodbye, Boomer. Oh, the flashback. I have tears. second time. "I owe you one."

HELO!!!!! tears. third time.

God, Hera and the president. Or...just the president. IT's so hard to see Roslin dying like she is.

Ah, Baltar. He'll preach to anyone who wants to listen. Strangely, this is the first time he's made sense to me. Also, this show's suddenly become a little too Christian for me right now...

I don't trust Cavil, even if he is as good as his word.

Cavil with a gun to his mouth? One, Surprising, Two: HOLY crap, I didn't know you could show that on TV. The actual shot of it, I mean, not just the gun in the mouth, but the trigger pull.

Starbuck: There must be some kind of way out of here. PERFECT. Just perfect, the notes are the song, the song is the dialogue. Perfect. But I'm also thinking, "You will lead humanity to the end." But you didn't, so it's okay.

EARTH. Somehow I knew that nuclear-destroyed planet wasn't it. I knew Kara would lead them to Earth as said. The song, the coordinates, of course it would all add up.

Neanderthals. Our ancestors are the ancestors of Kobol. I LOVE this. Probably my favorite twist of the whole thing.

And Apollo says what I think about the human race NOW, basically. We need to stop evolving so much and go back to some basics. But uhm, while I appreciate the thought, shouldn't they maybe keep reserves of SOME sort, like hidden somewhere, just in case? Where like...only Adama knows, so when he dies it'd take generations to find it again. Just a thought. I do like the idea, though. This whole show is nothing if not a giant meta on humanity.

God, SAM. SO important to everything. And I knew he wasn't going to snap out of it and become Sam Anders again, just a hybrid, but still. Losing him...Tears number 4. SAM. "I'll see you on the other side." Hmm. And all of humanity once again relies in the hands of a "Sam." Just not a Winchester, this time.

And of course Adama would be the last one out of the ship. Of course.

And does Galen become the descendant of the Celts, on his tiny little island?

I'm glad Bill left with Laura. It wouldn't be right any other way. Her death, his emotion. I love Eddie Olmos for that right now, but I hate him for making me run out of tissues!

God, Lee's so absolutely adorable. And Kara Thrace was an angel, an enigma, a mystery, and he just accepts it because he knew it all along. Surpise, but not really. It was obvious she was something other, and while I'm sad we didn't get a smack-you-in-the-face answer of what she is, I like the way she went out. Just...poof. And Kara Thrace remains a mystery to everyone.
...So does that make Kara the Joker? And Galactica the Thief? Kara for not being real and Galactica for...what?

"what do ya hear, starbuck? nothing but the rain. Grab your gun and bring in the cat." Should I know what this is from? And once again Battlestar Wiki reminds me that I should pay more attention.

HOLY CRAP HELO ISNT DEAD. GOOD.

150,000 years later:
Hera is mitochondrial eve. And RON MOORE IS READING the magazine. CAMEO, of course!

"you know he doesn't like that name?" So what name does God like?

And I love the way they end this, shots of society today, how technology is overtaking us. I couldn't even watch the show without my laptop, and I TRIED. This show...humanity's conscience in a way, I swear.

God, my shows this week, killing me. KILL ME, I tell you.

In conclusion: All this has happened before, and all this will happen again. Maybe.

So Say We All.
