So weird. I've been darkmerrick for friggin ever, since before I got this journal in '04 even. It's a big thing. People won't know who I am, wibble.


In other news, my dad totaled his car today while in Terre Haute and broke his wrist. I'm not sure of the details yet.

My mom called to tell me while I was at work and I was freaking out. I was already stressed because Sonja had left me EVERYTHING to do, stuff that the 1st shift person was supposed to do but since it was her, nothing got done.

Long story short, I yelled at her and then stormed out, and I really don't think I want to go back. Harry's such a nice guy, though, and I hate to disappoint him. He just left me a voicemail, I'm afraid to listen to it because I know I'll cave and go back. What to do, what to do.

People will acclimate to the change of username soon enough. Don't worry. I think it's great that you dared take the step. I've had mine for about as long, and have also been playing around with the idea. I'm just so indecisive that I figure I'll wait until a new one 'comes to me'.

I hope your Dad is alright! Lucky that it was no more than a broken wrist! Sucks about the car though... : /

Thanks for the warning. I haven't started using the scrapbook function yet, so that wouldn't be an issue right now. I'm a bit conflicted about my username. I still really love the sound of "dawnintheforest", but I also would really love to have a name that reflected my obsession with SPN. Especially since I'd say at least 50% of what I write about on my journal is about the show, and I don't see that changing for a long while. Plus, like you, I've had this "dawnintheforest" for (nearly) 6 years! And of course, there is the worry about the number of people on my flist who won't recognize me anymore after the change despite a post like this one. Yet, if I do it I would do it anyways - since the people on my flist who really matter are those who have spoken to me enough to not have that issue.

Sorry, ended up rambling there.
