alwaysenduphere: (sam//quote buffy you think you know)

A few thoughts on a matter.

In regards to one Dean Winchester:

He would have to rely on the might of his arm. So must a man do who intends to gain enduring glory in a combat. Life doesn't cost him a thought. ~Beowulf, around line 1535.

In regards to one Jared Padalecki:

Leave BritneyGenevieve alone!! lol. No, really. It's no one's business but their own, and I feel sorry for the poor girl for all the heat she's getting from fandom, and even more sorry for Jared for knowing that it's being linked with him that's bringing it all on her. Really. It almost seems like people don't want him to be happy unless its with Jensen, and that's just a whole 'nother ballgame.

(*cough* on the bright side, at least he can still shout "Jen/Gen" when the timing is right, if ya know what I mean? *cough grin*)

I like that quote a lot, it really relates to this Dean we've been seeing lately.

I honestly wouldn't like if Jared was dating Genevieve -- not because I don't want him to be happy, I just don't like her. But I'm not hating on him or her because, hey, that's their life, not mine, you know? I still like him more with Jensen but I'm not going to stop fangirling over him if he ends up with Gen.

I love the Jen/Gen thing -- it makes it a little more brighter, that I can still be delusional about it, hehe ;) <333

I think you're the only person that's going to notice the quote. It's being overshadowed by Jared (which isn't surprising cuz jared's HUGE, lol). but I really wanted people to get that. Should've separated the posts, oh, well. I read it and immediately thought of Dean. Which says something about my life, lol.

I don't feel I know enough about her to make a statement that I don't like her, is my thing. I can't make judgments about a person without information, and there' very little on her that I've seen, although I haven't gone hunting for it. And yeah, I don't understand how people are like "I'm over Jared if he does this." I'm like, then obviously you weren't ever "into him" in the first place.

Exactly. I do keep my tinhat handy at all times, even if it has some holes. :)

All good points. : ) (Yea, I'm in a concise mood for the moment. hehe)

[identity profile] dawnintheforest.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
; ) Thank you. I like it too.

[identity profile] crimsonkitty88.livejournal.com 2009-02-09 08:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Precisely! We may think Jared and Jensen are soulmates but that is NO reason to be tearing into a girl Jared is supposedly seeing. It's childish and invasive and wrong.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-09 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. Definitely a 10 on the "back the fuck off" scale.

[identity profile] crimsonkitty88.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
*sigh* fandom is just so stupid sometimes...

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-09 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I feel so out of the loop! What happened to Sandy?

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-09 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
They broke off their engagement some months ago. He announced it at...Dallas Con? I think, when ever that was, and it's been assumed that he's single up until recently when they've been spotted together doing NOTHING conclusive, but still people FREAK.

And by "they" i mean jared and gen.

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-09 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah.

I wish that the rabid fans would just leave Jared and Jensen alone. They seem like nice guys, but they have the same functions as the rest of us, and I'm never going to treat them like gods. (Also, they seem to be more religious than me, so I don't hold any crazy ideas that we'd be instant best friends.)

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. Yeah, they're both good Christian Texas boys. I'm sure a religious discussion could easily take place.

I wish fans would draw a line in invading their personal lives. Like, I think it's okay to want to know what's going on and trying to find out, that's human nature, but like...asking about it at cons and making vast statements like "I'm done with Jared if he starts dating Gen" just really aren't necessary, ya know?

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
I think anybody who says that they're "done" with Jared because of who he's dating is an idiot. Do they really think that it's going to make a difference in his life if a complete stranger stops googling him?

Not that they even mean it, anyway. They'll keep their word for maybe twenty-four hours, and then they'll look him up again because, "Well, if he wants to date her, I guess she's okay."

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. No kidding.

Well, cuz he's Jared and he's like a magnetic force you can't escape! lol.

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
The other day, you got me into the idea of calling referring to Sam as Sam(der) and now I'll be calling his portrayer Jared Magneto. :)

[identity profile] kcohan1.livejournal.com 2009-02-09 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Your little cross out of the britney reference so makes me laugh!! haha

Sometimes people in our fandom drive me fricken crazy with their bitchin, let the poor boys have a life. dang!!

The whole Jen/Gen thing, we were all thinking it too!! Muhahaha

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-09 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't really even like Chris Crocker, but that quote will always be funny.

IKR?!

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure if you're familiar with Adventure Quest, but they spoofed the Britney thing, too. There's a quest on that site, and you meet a group of gnomes or something, all given bizarre names that rhyme, with the exception of Britney. Any questions about her name result in, "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE! Um, she hates her name."

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-10 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm. I have heard of Adventure Quest, but I had no clue what it was.

Haha. That's really funny. I love it when little things that shouldn't be big deals become so. Wait. I didn't just say that. IN SOME CASES, things like that turn out well.

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
The quote is awesome, and it does remind me of Dean, too. Like I said, everything these days is BtVS or Supernatural. I've taken to watching certain kid/preteen shows on Disney and Nickelodeon, and I'm convinced that some of those characters are actually relatives of the Winchesters or the Scoobies.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
That's how my brain works too. BUT NOOO, DONT GET LOST IN THE DISNEY! IT EATS YOUR BRAINZ.

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
LOL I'm careful about what I view. No Hannah Montana from Disney, no SpongeBob from Nickelodeon.

Earlier today, I turned on NICK for Linus, then left the room to do the dishes. I heard the dreaded voice of Squidward and did this guerilla style ambush of the tv so I could change the channel.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Those were the main shows I was thinking of. Pshew. They brainwash, I swear. My roommate watches Spongebob every day and it makes wanna SCREAM.

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-11 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
I don't get why parents let their kids watch that crap.
Linus loves a lot of the show I watch, so I watch ones that I think are worth my time; not just the ones that kill boredom (and brain cells). I have taken him out of the room when we're visiting a relative and one of those shows is on.
He even watches Buffy with me and Joe. I was kind of hesitant to let him see it at first, but I avoid episodes like The Body.
He delayed his own birth because we were watching the show after my contractions started, the day before he was born. They just stopped while the episodes were on, and when I got up to IM some of my friends, my water broke. My conversation with them was basically, "Hi. Holy crap, I have to go. My water broke. TTYL."

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-12 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
It's not even good stuff. I don't know what kids are supposed to learn from it, if anything. At least Buffy teaches you to be tough and defend yourself when needed.

That kind of conversation would freak me OOUUT.

[identity profile] slayerkate.livejournal.com 2009-02-12 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
LOL It didn't scare me. I was excited. I do think it's hilarious that he waited until I was done watching Buffy, though.

[identity profile] alwaysenduphere.livejournal.com 2009-02-12 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
Knows your priorities, that kid. :P
