tv shows(<3). then life.
Okay, dude. I have a love/hate thing going on with Glee. I know shows need a villain of sorts, but Will's wife is just ridiculously annoying. She's not a villain, she's a show-crusher.
Rachel talking to Quinn was sweet. I hope they soften Quinn's character up as her pregnancy progresses. While I absolutely LOVE Rachel/Finn, I kind of want to see more Quinn/Finn. Or just more of Finn period, kthnxbye.
THEY SANG BON JOVI. THEY SANG MY FAVORITE SONG. If I had a single favorite song, at least. THEY SANG BON JOVI. I almost had a heart attack on the spot. I definitely squeed irl loudly. Best thing to come out of Glee so far.
And they need a fact checker. Maybe the laws are different by state, but in Indiana, you can only buy two boxes of psuedoephedrine at a time, and only from the same store every two weeks(I think). I had a little trouble with that last summer, because of my allergies. Now if it were liquid Robitussin, that's a different story. That shit gives you wings. But tastes like ass.

Flash Forward is interesting, I get that. Catchy premise, so far it's working out. Reminds me of a hybrid Lost/Fringe. And I'd be totally hooked...if it weren't on Thursday nights. All I can do while watching it is just keep going "Is it 9 yet? Is it time for Supernatural?" LOL.
I'm curious how Zoey saw Dem if he saw nothing. Is she lying? Or maybe she's getting married to someone else and didn't actually see the groom? Or maybe it's all a set-up to make people think Demitri is dead when he's really alive. Like Genevieve's character who I think we get to see next week? AND WHEN THE HELL DO WE GET
IDK, it's catchy, I'm just not hooked. I think I'm watching it more for the actors than the characters, too...

I found myself saying, "Sam's getting choked, Dean's getting tied up, must be Thursday." I think I'm kind of over the whole "case episode" when shit like the apocalypse is happening. But maybe I'm just picky.
One, I find it ridiculous that Sam can just miraculously find all the info he needs in a day or two online. Two, I (strangely?) expected Dean to be the one to know a spattering of Spanish if you take in effect all the random jobs he's probably worked. IDK, maybe that's just something I picked up from fic. Paris Hilton was pretty cool, though, for what it was. People knock her, but she's defintely a good sport. I kind of liked the whole jab at celebrity worship.
Dude, my boyfriend noticed Jared's wicked veiny (attractively muscular) arms before I did. I was distracted by...other things. ;)
oh and three, I don't know how I feel about how their doing the boys' whole "on shaky ground/trust issues" thing, but yay for Dean remembering he kinda started the apocalypse too. I do enjoy when they cover their bases so people stop complaining. And I was miffed when Dean tossed Sam the keys, not because it was silly, but because it was perfect. So perfect that's how I'd ended the fic I'd finished a couple hours earlier, boo. Guess that's what happens when you don't write fast enough. So I changed the ending so as not to rip off the show. LOL. AND NOW I'M GOING TO POST IT...HERE. *COMPELS YOU TO READ*
So are we on hiatus now?
-I whacked my knee on the bed frame the other night and I swear the bruise is getting bigger instead of smaller. Ouch.
-Angel's character is so un-Angel-like in the first 3 episodes of Buffy. God, season one. How you do kind of...suck.
-The hospital elevators remind me of the Tower of Terror. They're superfast and my ears pop at the pressure change. They rattle like crazy on the way up, and when they stop I feel like my knees are pushing into my ankles. I've never had a problem with elevators before (or the Tower of Terror, as I rode it 4 times in succession), but I swear, I'm thisclose to walking the six flights of stairs up to the bone marrow floor every time we ride the damn thing.
-My dog apparently caught a dove yesterday. My mom was practically laughing hysterically trying to paint the image for me. Winchester's just got neutered so he's wearing one of those cones on his head to keep him from his stitches, but he managed to latch onto an injured dove and carry it to my dad. Of course he only brings the nasty stuff back. LOL. I miss my puppy.
-Oh, also our house is apparently crooked and the new porch that just got built doesn't line up with the house frame. My mom was doing the whole "it's not funny, but it is" thing when she was telling me. There's a six-inch difference between the top of the house and the bottom now.
-It's getting better. All this is almost over, thankfully. And then...real life, finally. DUN DUN DUN. Oh, and I may not be around at all for a couple of days. Depending on how his counts come back, we may not have a trip to the hospital this weekend at all. Which means no internet access.

Hee, thank you. Silly show, reading my mind.

Tell me about it! I was re-watching season 1 not too long ago and I found myself shaking my head most of the time. It's amazing how much more awesome this show got later on when the first season was so, well, not awesome at all.

(Anonymous) 2009-10-09 03:42 pm (UTC)(link)That's how I feel, but I've always been a mythology girl over a moster-of-the-week girl.
Two, I (strangely?) expected Dean to be the one to know a spattering of Spanish if you take in effect all the random jobs he's probably worked.
True, and I would expect him to have some experience south of the border too. It's certainly more plausible than Sam nailing Spanish in a geek apotheosis.
People knock her, but she's defintely a good sport. I kind of liked the whole jab at celebrity worship.
Yeah I enjoyed that too, even if her acting was uhhh, problematic. But it definitely reminds me that monster-of-the-weeks tend to be pretty good too.

SAM DRIVING THE IMPALA WITH DEAN DOING SHOTGUN. *FLAIL*
So are we on hiatus now?
Yeah, which sucks because the CSI spoof looking thing= hotness. Dean playing poker with demons= hotness. Although, I hafta say, there seems to be an ungoldly amount of crack this season. Hmm.

I think I just want to see Jensen speak Spanish.
Yeah, I can only deal with so much crack.

And me personally, I need episodes like this because sometimes the angst is overwhelming and the apocalyptic episodes all start to seem similar. Also, this is why I love the show; the random cases like this mixed with the Apocalypse.
I'm glad Sam is trying to get Dean to be more open, and sooner than he normally would have tried.

I have a love/hate relationship with Glee too. But It's My Life was so totally godly! And Quinn/Rachel was cute, I'm softening to Rachel a bit more. And Terri can diaf seriously she makes no sense.

Terri is really the only character that doesn't make that show AMAZING.

I agree that they need a fact-checker. I haven't looked at the writing credits for this show yet, but I'm convinced it's a bunch of men.
Terri's never been pregnant before, so she wouldn't know that gender isn't detectable until around week 20. Being three months' pregnant, she'd have no idea whether she was having a boy or a girl.
But Will's mom, who has given birth at least once? She should have known better.
