Supernatural got the early renewal for season five. *fist pump* Means I can be an insane fangirl for another year, no excuses needed. I can't believe Smallville and One Tree Hill are still going, though. Guess it shows a show can survive even if cast member start disappearing.

Thoroughly the most stressed I've ever been. Hiatus is still on, at least until Thursday evening, for sure. Just popping in to shine out what little light I have keeping me going. I hope everyone had a nice Mardi Gras today/yesterday, since it's now after midnight.

I'm certainly super duper excited for more of Jared and Jensen as Sam and dean. I don't know what I'll do when the show ends but as Jensen says, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

I can't believe that Smallville is still running though. Like... no. It needs to die. Or go away to a dark, dark corner. I thought that it should have ended around fifth, if not fourth, season.

It really does. Like...I'm curious to watch it, just cuz, but I never really have, and at this point, I can't believe there's any story left to tell. He's pretty much Superman at this point, right? we all know that story.

Gaaahh!!! Squeee! I've been giddily celebrating the S5 announcement all over the place for the last 13 hours (well obviously I slept for about 8 of those and had class for some)! I'm so glad that Kripke gets his 5 seasons! Plus, I'm not ready to prepare myself emotionally for the series finale.

I read that article. I liked that quote too. Maybe I can live by that as well as I struggle through all the essays and crud this semester...

Announcement LITERALLY made my day. Yeah, I'm not ready for the end either. From what Jensen said in Chicago, though, Kripke didn't mind ending it with this season. I think his 5 year plan is more complicated that he wanted, lol.

It's funny, the first time I read through it I didn't even read the article. Then someone pointed out the quote, and I was like..."HEY. THATS GOOD." And so, yeah.

Well, I for one love Kripke and what he's done with this story so much that I won't nag or even ask him for a 6th season. I'll accept that Season 5 the end, even through my (anticipated) tears. Not that it can't end happily ultimately, that would be a serious twist if you ask me! Since almost everything so far, 3.75 seasons in, points towards a dark one...

Blaaahhh... I have to get back to writing a paper of my own... I promised myself to reach the 1/3-way point tonight. You know how I know I'll make that goal? Because

germanjj. I read the first chapter between classes, and I'm seriously hooked!
I really recommend it and I'm only a chapter in, as I said! Although, if you're feeling down - you may want to know that it looks like a sad story. Just fyi.

lol. I love "and shameless use of Chad Michael Murray as a reasonable guy." Little longer than I usually prefer to read, but since the essay from hell is currently awaiting a proofreader, I got time. Plus I do enjoy me some non-AU J2.

I stayed up REALLY late last night to finish it. I loved it! I wish all fics were written that well. Have you read it? It's an intense emotional rollercoaster is all I'll say for now. It's really stuck with me too.

I started to, then kind of skimmed through it. I didn't hold my interest. I'm really picky about my Angsty Jensen, and that just wasn't doin for me. :/ I

t's great how some stories stay in your head after you read them, though. I find myself bringing them up in conversation from time to time, and then usually getting funny looks. Although not always.

Mm, yea that's understandable.
The second chapter nearly lost me, 'cause it was so different from the first one.
Both of the boys kind of fluctuated in this story. I can't really explain it better than that. I'd be with them 100% for a while, and then that would ebb, only to return again.
And yeah, this Angsty-Jensen was almost beyond angst. He was pretty much a closed-off train-wreck for at least the first half.

What's a Angsty-Jensen fic that you really like? I'm totally fishing for more rec's! : D

You know...sigh. I hate it when people ask me for recs, because I suck at the organizing and I read so much and save so little that I never know what to tell people. :/

You ARE in luck, though, because I just sorted through my bookmarks, and there's ONE...just one, that I loved and saved so far. <a href="http://felisblanco.livejournal.com/672910.html'> In a Mirror Distorted. </a> It's got angsty anorexic Jensen, and it's kind of AU, in the way of giving details that may not exist, but it's still Jen and Jay. But something about that one just makes me love it.

I'm only semi-organized with fics. I think I have the opposite problem of being a little over-zealous in the "saving to my memories" department.
Thank you for the rec, if I wasn't volunteering starting at 10 am tomorrow I would start reading it straight away. I'm still scratching my head as to why I agreed on such an early hour when it takes an hour to get there... And normally I have no class on Fridays...

True, true, true. I forget that people do still watch shows until the (sometimes) bitter end, if they really love them, I myself usually being one of those folks.
