Are you kidding me? LEFT 4 DEAD! Killing fucking zombies with the weapons of my choice (sword and shotgun, hello), awesome times. The first one though, not the second. I don't need any of those stupid jockeys up in my business. Oh, but if I did the first one the melee weapons aren't in that one...hmmm...ITS MY FANTASY WORLD SO I'D MAKE THEM BE IN IT, WHATEV.

Portal would be fun, too. Not so much Half Life, but I'd enjoy a gravity gun. But yeah, Portal. I could save Companion Cube and play with the portal gun, get some momenemum. :P

Then again, Beatles Rock Band would be awesome too. Could I be Paul? Or Ringo?

Fallout 3 would be kinda fun, too. Post-apocalypse for the win. I'd just hang out in Megaton, though. Too many creepy bug things in that world for me to kill.

I suppose Final Fantasy XI wouldn't be too bad. I'd enjoy riding a chocobo. Yes, yes I would. I'd sing the little song the whole time I was on it, too. Do doo do do do doo doo doo, do do do do do do doo, do do do dooo dooo!

Gosh. I don't know what else.

I don't know why I don't have a L4D icon. frown. BUT I HAS A PORTAL ONE!

To boldly go indeed. Excuse me while I still flail over in the corner like the ginormous fangirl I am. I saw it twice. Yesterday. Just yesterday. I'm seeing it once more next week, and I honestly could see again after that. Especially since I didn't pay the first two times, lol.

I meant to make this post last night after my back-to-back viewings, but I got caught up leveling my shiny new FFXI character, and was tired by the time I got home.

Something to understand about me. I've been a Star Trek fan since before I was born, i.e. it's in my blood, since my mom's been a huge fan since forever. I was never outspoken about it, I'm not one of those Trekkie's that's like "OMG THEY'RE DOIN IT WRONG CUZ..." or whatever. Basically, I didn't publicize my love of Star Trek because I'm mildly embarrassed by it. That and it's said you can't be a Star Trek fan and still be a Star Wars fan, and I am. But I'm shouting from the rooftops now.

I've been to conventions. Probably a dozen. Granted, I was a lot younger and don't remember them well, but my mom did give me the option to stay home and I chose not to. I met William Shatner when I was 4, at probably one of his last con appearances. I don't remember anything about it, but I have the picture. I remember seeing George Takei twice and being impressed by how deep his voice was when he said the trademark "OH MY." The memory that stands out most is of Jimmy Doohan, though, a few years before he stopped going to cons and then died not long after. He said the word "funky" then stopped and said "I sure hope I put an 'n' in that word, right?" And as a child who was told not to swear, that made my day.

Anyway. Leonard Nimoy was the only member of TOS that I never got to meet, and I'm sad. Because he fucking rocks. As does this movie. So anyway, enough about me. I'm gonna go on and on about how awesome this movie is now. live long and fucking prosper indeed )

This Chris Pine fellow.

I know he was in Princess Diaries 2, but I don't think I'll rewatch it again just for him, bleh. BUT HES SO AMAZING. One, his eyes are like the prettiest shade of blue. Two, he can act. Three, he can act like a cocky, younger James T Kirk who had some of the best lines of dialogue in the movie. Four, did I mention he's PRETTY. I've already run off and joined like 4 LJ comms because of this movie. Sigh.

And now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna run off and watch The Wrath of Khan now, to revel in the best days of Kirk and Spock's friendship.

I need a better icon and I'm looking for a header. But right now this icon'll do.
