This is the first pumpkin I ever carved. Pretty good, eh? Haha. Took me 2+ hours and my hand cramped like whoa. I'll be posting more pictures of our other pumpkins and my costume and stuff tomorrow or the next day, but consider this a sneak peek. :D

The children came to our doors this evening. They were so cute in their costumes. I may not like kids all that much on a regular basis, but they're SO AWESOME in their little costumes!!! There was this one girl dressed as an obscure Jedi whose name I can't think of right now. (Blue and white striped lekku? maybe not lekku, but something similar? my nerdiness is failing me right now.) She even had a sweet glowing green lightsaber. I was like "I love your costume! Don't ever let anyone tell you that being a Star Wars freak is a bad thing!" Her dad laughed at me.

I feel like shit. This day has sucked balls, almost as bad as yesterday. Actually, this day's worse because I CAN'T BREATHE! Bleh. Stupid...changing seasons.

My fingernails are so long that it's getting hard to type...
I love Halloween, but I think I'm ready for it to be over. My costume of the woman in white should've been Bloody Mary, if you get my drift, in the female way. *cranky face*

Anyway. J-Boo will be here in a few hours, I think. But I'm off to spread the joy of Ten Inch Hero to Rachael and Nicole. Director's ranting and DVD sales be damned. :P

So, yeah. I've been saving this entry for a week now, because its entry six hundred and sixty-six and I thought it was only fitting that it should be about Supernatural. But I have a bunch of real life stuff to blather on about too, so this is going to be something of a long entry, as a warning.

So, Supernatural stuff first, so ppl dont have to read thru the rl stuff if they dont wanna. As usual, watching it a second time on my VCR tapeeee! I'm not sure I'll review every week, but it's just been so good so far I can't help it.

Got most of my Halloween costume today. I know, starting early. For those of you who didn't listen to the voice post below, congratulations. No, it just noted that I decided not to be Mara Jade Skywalker for Halloween this year. Basically, that would've had me wearing the same thing I wore last year as Jean Grey and just adding a lightsaber.

Instead, in an homage to my Anthropology roots, I'm going with folklore. I haven't done a semi-scary costume in awhile. And I can still wear my pretty red wig, the driving force behind both Jean and Mara.

This year, for Halloween, I'm going to be La Llorona. And now everyone's like WTF. The Weeping Woman. Woman in White. Wikipedia her. If you're a Supernatural fan, she's familiar. She's what Constance Welch was in the Pilot episode of the show, which is not the reason why I'm going as her, but it's certainly an added bonus.

So basically, all I did was buy a white dress and some white face makeup, and I'll roll around in the dirt a bit and destroy the dress. And presto costume! How exciting. Now I'm off to help other ppl figure out their costumes. I'm good like that. LOL.

But seriously. Fandom disappointment, here. Now I'm off to watch Sarah Connor.
